Start by measuring the back of the sofa, from the outer edge of one armrest to the other. Next measure the width and depth of the sofa’s chaise.

Mamma Mia’s L-shaped sofa covers fit a range of sizes. Make sure your sofa fits within these measurements for the best fit:

• sofa width: between 70" and 145";
• chaise width: between 24" and 43";
• chaise depth: between 40" and 70".

2. 2. Find the slipcover’s tag;
3. 3. Start putting the slipcover on starting from the chaise, keeping the tag in front;
4. 4. Stretch out the cover over the armrests and the sofa’s back;
5. 5. Tuck in the excess fabric into the sofa’s grooves;
6. 6. Take the laces and stretch them underneath the sofa; then
7. 7. Tie the laces together with the loose ends on the opposite sides to keep the slipcover tightly in place.

Additionally, our cardboard inserts can aid in preventing any movement or slipping during use. Once the cover is on and excess fabric is tucked in tightly, sit on the sofa and place the cardboard inserts as instructed.

Care Tips to Make Your Slipcover Last Longer

Mamma Mia’s sofa slipcovers are made to last. Following a few simple care tips will help you get the most out of their lifespan.

Firstly, a gentle machine wash with cold water is all you need to keep them clean and will avoid damage to the fabric. Slipcovers should be washed separately. Do NOT use bleach or harsh detergents to avoid discoloration and unnecessary damage. 

Do NOT dry-clean or tumble-dry the cover, and do NOT iron - these can damage the delicate fabric and affect its appearance. Instead, line-drying is what we recommend in order to preserve the integrity of the fabric and prevent any unnecessary damage.
