MAMMA MIA COVERS® – RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

At Mamma Mia Covers®, we want you to feel confident and comfortable with every purchase. We understand that sometimes things don’t work out – and that’s perfectly okay.

Our return process is designed to be clear, fair, and customer-friendly, while ensuring compliance with U.S. consumer protection laws.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this Returns & Exchanges Policy.

 

1. How to Start a Return or Exchange

You can start your return in two convenient ways:

Option 1 – Online Return Portal
Visit our Returns & Exchanges portal (located at the bottom of this page).
Simply enter your order number and email, phone, or ZIP code to begin your return or exchange.

Option 2 – Customer Support
Contact our Customer Support Team via email, chat, or phone, and we’ll guide you through the process step by step.

Please note:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the item received was incorrect or defective.

 

2. Product-Specific Return Conditions

Slipcovers

  • Returns or exchanges accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Item must be unused, unwashed, and free of stains, fragrance/odors, or pet hair.
  • Original packaging, instructions, straps, and labels must be included.

Waterproof Blankets

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Must be unused, unwashed, and free of fragrance/odors, stains, or fragrance.
  • Original packaging, inserts, and instructions required.

Mattress Protectors

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags, inserts, and instructions.
  • Hygiene and safety standards strictly apply.

 

3. Restocking & Refund Adjustments

If an item is returned in less-than-perfect condition, a restocking fee of up to 50% may apply depending on the item’s condition, missing components, or detectable odors, as outlined in this policy.

If a returned product is assessed as unsellable (for example, visibly used, washed, showing stains, containing hair or pet fur, or carrying persistent scents), Mamma Mia Covers® – as an act of goodwill – will issue a partial refund of 50% of the product’s value instead of a full denial.

Customers will be notified before any deduction and provided with two options:

  1. Proceed with the refund less 50% (plus the return shipping cost), or
  2. Request the product to be returned to them (both return shipping covered by us).

This approach reflects our good-faith, customer-first philosophy.

 

4. Return Windows & Eligibility

Our standard return window is 30 days from the date of delivery. We reserve the right to decline returns requested beyond 30 days from the date of delivery.

If a return is received incomplete (for example, missing straps, packaging, or accessories that were part of the order), a 10-15% deduction may apply.

All return and refund approvals are subject to Mamma Mia Covers® final review and discretion.

 

5. Shipping Costs & Return Labels

  • Prepaid UPS label: $15 flat fee (within the 48 contiguous U.S. states).
  • For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Territories: return-label cost equals the original outbound shipping fee.
  • You may also return items using your own trackable carrier if preferred.

 

6. Exchanges

We’re happy to assist with exchanges within 30 days of delivery.

  • One exchange per order is free (return shipping covered by the customer).
  • For second exchanges or those beyond 30 days (if applicable), all shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • If the item delivered does not match the product, size, or color shown in your order confirmation due to our mistake in processing or packaging the order, we will send the correct replacement at no cost to you.

All exchange requests are subject to the same product-condition requirements as returns. 

We reserve the right to decline an exchange if the returned item is deemed unsellable

In such cases, the item originally sent to us for exchange will be returned to the customer under the same terms described in this section (return shipping covered by the customer).

 

7. Refused Deliveries

If a package is returned to us because delivery was refused or unclaimed, a $15 return-shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. This covers the cost charged by the carrier for returning the parcel to our facility.

 

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Fabric swatches
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper care

 

9. Refund Processing

All returns are inspected upon receipt. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after inspection and may take up to 10 business days to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.

 

10. Our Goodwill Policy

While U.S. law allows businesses to refuse refunds for used or unsellable goods, Mamma Mia Covers® chooses to act with good faith and flexibility.

All refund decisions for items that fall outside standard eligibility criteria are made as a gesture of goodwill - not as a legal obligation - and always within the framework of U.S. consumer-protection law.

We believe that most issues can be resolved through open communication and mutual understanding.
